Dr. Cara Frankenfeld is an epidemiologist with EpidStrategies, a division of ToxStrategies. She holds a doctorate in Epidemiology and a master’s degree in Nutritional Science. She has a distinguished academic background that spans two decades and has also worked in the consulting arena. She is an experienced epidemiologist and biostatistician with twenty years of work in the design and conduct of observational and clinical human health research studies, evidence synthesis, and scientific communication to diverse audiences. Her expertise is in the design and analysis of complex data, such as microbiome, metabolome, diet, and spatial factors, as applied to chronic conditions, including cancer, cardiometabolic diseases, and overall mortality. She currently serves as the Program Director and Associate Professor with the Master of Public Health Program at the University of Puget Sound and has been also a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology (F.A.C.E.) since 2014.
